Bodoglife.com - New Domain For Bodog.com

One of the largest internet casino brands, Bodog, lost its domain name (www.bodog.com), as a result of a default judgment obtained by 1st Technology LLC of Las Vegas, Nevada. Technology LLC claims Bodog failed to answer allegations that downloaded software used by its customers to gamble online infringed upon 1st Technology's patents. Additionally, Bodog is being order to pay $48.6 million in damages to 1st Technology.

Tuesday afternoon, Calvin Ayre, the founder of Bodog.com stated: "The problems result from a dispute over the ownership of the Bodog.com domain name," he said. "We are fighting this dispute and are confident that we will win."

Today bodog has issued a new domain name www.bodoglife.com for its internet gaming venture. Bodog offers internet casino, sports book and poker room entertainment to its large international clientele. The loss in business due to the court ordered domain name change is still unpredictable, but some business is expected to be lost.
